brake drum removal

how do i remove the brake drum, taken off wheel and loosened hub nuts but not to sure where to go next.

any help apreciated

.............. Take of the road wheel ....Be aware that they might have left and right hand threads .....

On the rear you will then need to remove the nuts around the half shafts ( central Hub ) remove half shafts , this will expose a set of LARGR nuts and washers inside this hub, remove these Nuts/washers and the brake drum will come off .

On the front remove road wheel ....remove the dome-ed cap this will expose a large- ish nut and cotter pin, Remove, - this will allow you to remove the end cap (similar in shape to the rear half shafts ) either round or pettal shaped!! after you have removed the bolts which hold it on ......then remove the brake drum/hub ...

Off the top of my head Thats about it ...

OH and Buy a TM ( Manual ) although not great in comparison to a Haynes manual ....Very Very worth while ..

Oh may be worth while posting many of you tech questions on the MB / GPW board as the M201 is almost mechanicaly identical ... it's only the 24v electrics that this board is a better bet ...
