I'm working on the engine now.
There will be a cut.
Crank 3 cut. The block has to be standardized.

I'll sand the frame.
A quick and easy repair will take place.

Hello,

It is nice to see a Craftsman at work, using their skills !!
Keeping them Rolling !!!!

Keep up your great work :D :D

What part of Czech Republic are you from?
My father was in a German POW Stalag near Bad Shandau, Germany, on the Elbe River, just across the border from Decin, Czechoslovakia.
A Czech woman saved his life , after he got out of the POW Camp , taking him in and feeding him, as he was down to 90 pounds.
He was always grateful to her and eventually made it to Pilsen, and to US Forces that had arrived there.
He and other US POWS were air evacuated out of Pilsen , on C-47 Transports planes.
They flew back to France, later to England, then a 24 day crossing on an LST ship to America.

Best Regards,

Ray

Hi Ray,

I try to.
What you do not do it yourself.

I am on the other side of the Czech Republic than Děčín.
Your father had an interesting fate.
Especially that he got right back to the USA

Hello,

Yes he was very fortunate, as I , as I am here today :D :D :D :D !!!
You are so right, to do what you can do, you do yourself !!

We sometimes say, learn by doing, here in USA.
I wish more people of today
took more interest in restoring old vehicles and learning the ways of craftsmanship,
that you so thoroughly have mastered !! :D :D :D
Restoring these historic vehicles opens up a world of knowledge and skills that can be applied on anything !

Looking forward to more photos of your excellent progress,

Best Regards,

Ray

Hello,

You certainly work fast !!!
Nice sandblasted parts, they did a good job getting everything blasted clean !
Trailer and the F marked parts are a nice touch :D
You will be reassembling it pretty soon into a Jeep again, and be driving around before too long :D :D :D

Best Regards,

Ray

Hi Ray,

after a long pause I add some photos.

Every leisure I spend in the garage.
But it's not as fast as I'd like.
Soon the engine will be grinded and the frame will be finished.
I'm trying as much as possible. I have time-consuming work so it's sometimes complicated.
