Thank you Corne for this link.I learned a lot of things in it. I used to heartedly dislike Hotchkisses, and I still do when they are Americanized and this fact, not bad by itself,is disguised. For years I thought that the best asset of a GPW was it sure American origin. But on this site I found the proudness of real French built Hotchkiss owners and this led me to look at them in another way.I have helped out a friend/dealer,not english speaking, who aquired two French M201 and was wise enough to leave them french. He still needs a few minor finishing touches,as oil filter stickers and an Hotchkiss data plate. If any european guy knows where these are available,I would appreciate it.Corne Lauwerijssen wrote:Hi Stephan

I have posted Andy Carter's site on the tech board before as it's full of the best M201 imformation you can find, and Andy's a really helpful guy too. Like you Lucakiki I give the M201 lots of respect as it's got it's own place in history and if it wasn't for the French many WWII jeeps in europe wouldn't have survived to this day and the way many of the parts are getting across the pond I think they are helping you guys in the U.S. too .
