Hotchkiss M201 Ballast Coils

Hi all

I am new to this forum and asking a question on behalf of a friend who has a 201 but no internet access.

Can anyone advise where replacement 24v Ballast Coils may be obtained, they would not appear to be available from Galliers, Jeeparts et al and would be interested to know if anyone was aware of a source.

Alternatively, is there a way of by-passing the Ballast coils in any way
