Dimensions needed (crank mounting)

Post by pfnaak » Mon Feb 12, 2018 3:01 am

I would like to make the small plate the clamp for the crank is screwed on myself. But I can't find the dimensions. Would anybody measure an example for me (metric please)?

So it's the small plate welded to the back.

pfnaak;
Here are the measurements from my GPW. These are take looking from the face of the plate. Measurements are in mm.
From the top down:

14 mm to the first bend
14 mm to the 2nd bend
the 5/16 inch threaded rod is 22 mm down from the 2nd bend and is 1 inch or 25.40 mm long
from the 2nd bend to the bottom of the plate is 66.6 mm
the plate is 32 mm wide

Hope this helps. :D

It really does, thank you!

But just to get it right, what are the measurements for E and G?

E. 38 mm
G. 90 mm approx. following bends
82.7 mm top to bottom with bends
I corrected the threaded rod distance from the 2nd bend
