what glove box do I have

I have a 43 gpw, and the glove box looks like the one on this post- viewtopic.php?f=4&t=202016&start=15 at the bottom of the page. It is the same key-hole like cut out for the lock, but is higher. Has the spring attachment like this one. Any ideas? What type of lock does this have if this is a real gpw glove box? Mine has a push button keyed lock and is not raised to pull open.

Look at jeep draw.

Sounds like you have the correct lid for a 43 GPW its just that you might have an earlier keyed lock. Can you post Pic's.

Look on jeep draw under glove box as they have pictures of the different locks.

I haven't figured how to post a pic yet. Also wondering where you see glove box on jeep draw? I don't see it.

First of all go to Jeep Draw. Scroll down a short ways and you will see Colour or finish of jeep parts in large letters. Click on that.
Then scroll down the alphabetical list to glove box.

Thanks Roger,
The locks on jeep draw look nothing like the one I have and the hole cutout for the lock is like the one on the very bottom of the post I posted above. It is not the D shaped hole but round with a squared bottom. On that post it says that the glovebox shown is early. Mine is just like it except the lock sits higher like the D shaped holes do. Anyhow I will have to somehow get some picture hosting thing so I can start posting photos. I appreciate your help in trying to figure it out-

I just see the word Image 3 times. Are you using a 3rd party host or the attachments tab underneath the buttons that say save draft preview submit when you write your message.

Its like this one except the center of the hole is higher than this strait line. Anyhow I will give this a try and maybe it will show up

It is different than this one by Luke Sparks because the line of the lock sits higher. Does anyone have any idea?
