I finally got around to digging through some spare parts and this is one of the 3 steering columns I have. I never noticed it was shorter than the standard MB/GPW set up. The steering column outer sleeve on this is 27.5" long as opposed to 33.5" It is primered in black with faint traces of old OD paint on the top. Here are images and details of most of the markings.
Can anyone tell me what this shorty goes to?
