I was given a T84 with Transfer Case the Four Wheel Drive lever is much taller than my MB's 4 wheel drive lever, the low range lever is the correct length is it a M-38 or what do I have?

Pics would be very helpful, but sounds to me like a CJ-3a, M-38, ect, shifter.

I too have seen them. I think artificer is correct and it is for a Willys pick up truck.

Thanks for the feed back, one other bit of information it appears the rear end is from a WWII jeep since I believe the rear end allows for the axle to slide out from the wheel. Not aware that CJ2 or CJ3 had rear ends like the WWII jeep? This jeep has a partial M38 body pretty much cobbled together jeep.

Thanks again

All CJ2's and early CJ2-A's had full-floating axles like the MB's, but the gear ratio is 5.38:1, unlike the MB's 4.88. BW
