Re: Current Production Tire Review. STA, Firestone, Speeday
I always wondered how Dodge tires would look on a Jeep; now I know.

I am confused too. I bought Firestones from Lucas tire and they have the pointed tread indents?

I'll stick with Good Years for 6.00 X 16 NDT authenticity as they were the most widely used on new Jeeps of the 40's.

Re: .
First off I appreciate everyone's input on these other NDT tire brands. I too was curious about them and in doing my own research found another NDT that I couldn't find a single real photo of or a single review of. The low resolution stock photo of the tire looked good so I decided to gamble and order 1 just to find out what the heck it was. This is the European Classic Brand 6.00 16 NDT. I purchased it because in the stock photo I saw no ugly sidewall markings and most importantly NO WEAR BARS! I ordered it from Performance Plus Tire exactly 1 year ago. Manufacturer Part Number EC60016 The cost was $89 plus $2.49 insurance and $9.95 handling. Making this 1 tire $101.44 delivered to my door.
First impressions are it is VERY HEAVY. Super Thick Sidewalls. I have a feeling this tire might wear like iron. Tread Depth was 0.48 inches.
So far my only complaint was it appears to be undersized. When I first received the tire I thought it looked narrow. I don't have any current goodyear or firestone reproductions to compare it to so I compared it to original tires I have from 3 different manufacturers.

The integrity of the member of g503 I am sure is ok, but I am reluctant to enroll

Re: .
Good question.
I'd be interested in knowing the plant code on the 'European Classic' to know the actual manufacturer and the plant location.
My bet is India or China.
