More Data Plates INFORMATION Required Like THESE PHOTOS
Well here goes! Finally attempting to post the image of an aluminium data plate for the historians on the "G". Apologies if I wreck the site!
This plate was found among a pile of jeep parts in Australia, no other details of original vehicle unknown.

Hi Alan,
Great data plate! Now only about 277895 more to get posted like this.
Is it true that every time a jeep horn sounds a " Guardian Angle " gets his wings???????

Following Alan's lead I am posting a picture of the data plate for this GPW.
There is no GPW attached to the plate!
Meep MeepOut of interest GPW 187400 was resident about 20 km from me but now resides in Queensland.
cheers
Bill.

One more for the pile. Info and a couple post-resto pix of this Dallas GPW, see links below.
Enough photos from step-one to do an entire site for her, but no time. Websites for a livin' - The cobbler's children have no shoes.
Should some frame stamping variations be posted here also?
Perhaps once a variety of images are compiled, some info noting the subtle, and not so subtle differences in these markings that allow one to determine which plant a particular Jeep came from could be added.

So can I take it, by the pics already posted, that this is a place to post just GPW data/nomenclature plates for research purposes?
of any era? ie: 42-45?
Thanks,
Ian.
Yes Ian.....you got it in one... MeepMeep
