Hi all . anyone know where i can buy rivets for the jerry can straps ? thanks Ken

Of course; from the guy who is paying for this great site; Ron Fitzpatrick. Why go anywhere else for parts?
If you get your gas can straps from Ron, they come with the correct rivets.

Most of the part retailers include them with the straps they sell but don't list the rivets separately. I presume you have some NOS parts that need rivets. There are some dealers in Europe like Jeepest.com listing them separate if you don't mind the shipping. You might also contact local canvas/strap manufacturers directly to see if they will sell the rivets separate. Check with odcloth.com for example.

Beachwood sold me some rivets and other loose hardware.
