Jim,
It was nice meeting you this past weekend at the parade in Riverside.  My son and I enjoy watching the parade every year.  They do a nice job.
I wanted to forward some information to you about our event in Florence.  We do a ceremony at one of our veterans memorials (In the same area as the parade formation) and then our parade begins thru town.  At the end we provide hot dogs and drinks to all parade participants.  Later in the evening we have a large food court behind our municipal complex with various entertainment for families including bands playing into the evening hours.  Shortly after 9pm we do a nice fireworks display to end the evening.
Please let me know if there may be any military vehicles and/or classic cars that would like to be in our parade this year.  It’s a really nice time and since it’s the weekend after July 4th, we get a really large turnout.
Please reach out to me any time with questions.  I’ll attach our events flyer and parade entry form.
