USAC TSCO SQUARE GAS CAN ?

I have a square gas can, it's marked USAC on top and TSCO on the bottom. can anyone tell me something about this gas can? Is it WWII? what was it used for? any help would be appreciated...

Could be fuel. could be other petroleums products - lubricating oil, hydralic fluid, etc.

square cans were used INSIDE armored vehicles to fuel the aux generator - even though it is fueled from the outside of the hull.......I would really like to have that for my M18 Hellcat which calls those out for the interior equipment list if you will sell it!!??? Also used for water...in additin to the canteens on hangers! Could trade several nice WWII GI gas cans???
