Many thanks, conditions to be considered, but completeness is important even more. Any info much appreciated as well.

try these guys, they seem to have lots of BC659 and associated components albeit they are French made.

You need to get the manual for your BC-659. The manual number is TM11-615. The manual will list the components you need to complete the radio.
