FS: Pre-WW2 Signal Corps Pocket Knife SOLD

Post by AZ Jeff » Mon May 03, 2010 5:44 pm

Here's a nice, EARLY Signal Corps Pocket Knife...

Image

Cole (Book III, page 121) sez these were early Signal Corps issue, likely WWI or interwars, and made without the bail. Measures 3-1/2" long (closed) and 1/2" thick. This example is nicely marked to CAMILLUS and has the wonderful S.C. U.S.A. panel on one side. The blade shows no sharpening and only some age spots that have not been cleaned. One wood grip has a small crack next to one of the pins, otherwise the knife shows far less age than one would expect for its age. This is a very nice, high quality knife that was probably used in the early leather "wallet" type maintenance kit etc.

Price is $55, postpaid Priority Mail in the Lower 48. Please PM direct if you are interested. PayPal accepted and preferred. Thanks for looking!

*** SOLD.
