1942 U.S. I.C.A CORP Mermite tin steel container
Can anyone tell me what 1942 I.C.A. CORP is. That is stamped in raised letters under lid of my container. I would lime to sell it where it would get good use and be useful to somebody.

That is just the manufacturer. It doesn't make any difference on value. These are highly sought after, I doubt you will have any trouble selling it.

Condition is everything. Are you sure it is tin? There is also an aluminum version.
$50-$100 would be the ballpark. But that is just my opinion.

Yes, definitely tin steel, weighs about 30 pounds. Trying to upload pictures by phone but still trying.

Oh, you are talking the whole container. For some reason I was just thinking the insert. Your looking at about $200 then.

Shipping will factor for some folks who would otherwise buy the thing. Your location would help! I'd be interested depending on price, condition and location.

I know it ways approximately 30 lbs. I would only charge actual shipping cost, no extra or handling fees etc. Where are you located?

Thank you for uploading pic's Ron Fitzpatrick. I don't have inserts etc. and I was told it should have a gasket for lid which I don't have either. Just the container and lid.
