Sandbags for display - Spoken for - THANKS!!

Post by doctordirt » Tue Oct 24, 2017 9:10 am

Need to make a bunker or reinforce your fighting position? Need some props for a WW2 event?

I have about 100ea sandbags we made up for an indoor WWII display.
These are made from burlap grain sacks, filled with shredded paper in plastic bags (so they don't get wet and soggy) and tied with jute cord. They are easy to carry unlike a sand filled bag!

These are DISPLAY sandbags. They will not hold the weight of real sand. They look OK for a display fighting position, but would not hold back bullets or flood waters.

They are packed in garbage bags and are in dry storage in Fleetwood, PA. They are too bulky to ship, although very light.

Pickup in Fleetwood, PA

SPOKEN FOR! THANKS!

The burlap looks pretty loosely woven. You would likely need something to use as a liner.

Wade,
These take up 5 contractor size garbage bags. Way to much to ship.

Are the sandbags emptied? If you stacked them empty they should condense in size significantly.
How many total did you have?
