It appears that soft drinks have a higher priority than shovels.

Or will the shovel still fit?

Hank, did you read one of my posts on "bottle openers on jeeps", the post ran and ran, on how common they were, or not, it stirred up a wealth of interest, we might have another deluge of opinions. :D

This topic has been lurking for years to surface, earlier generation collectors had different priorities and concept on WWII MV History.

The shovel still fits! Possibly put there to hide the opener from someone.

So you're the rabblerouser that started the firefight?

You are polite to call it a "wealth of interest." I did follow the thread until it took a turn towards the abrasive about post #20.
Always interesting to read opinions expressed with varying degrees of temperament. ....

And your thread did inspire me to dig through my archives (junk boxes) for above openers.

Might be. Henry was a shrewd fella' - always looking for new ways to fill his pockets. Today, however, such unproven hunches are known as "Fake News."

Did they use the same opener to open the bottles as they did to open the can of worms?

No Mark - you posted an interesting topic. There are some, one in particular, who is always at the forefront of turning discussion and opinions into condescending Smear campaigns. In the G's early days, there was a Politics Forum - this unnamed individual was frequently warned to behave or be banned - and of course, he thought he was above the rules of the G.

Keep the good ideas coming. New insights, questions and opinions are always welcome. For most of us anyway.
