Mermite container
I just got this container. All the ones when I was in army 62 to 64 were rectangle. I never say a round one. It is in rough shape. Can anyone tell by the info on lid about this. Any info appreciated.

Wow! Thats just about the roughest mermite I've seen yet... any of the three inserts inside??

From the photos, I agree. I've seen far worse, later restored.
As for the interior rust, hammerite finish spray paint does a good job replicating the finish that the food containers came in.
