Liberty truck bed

Post by Zack Magnusson » Mon Aug 28, 2017 3:58 am

Hello,
I am seeking information regarding construction of the bed for a Liberty truck. I recognize that there were many variations, but just trying to see what is out there if anyone has drawings that would be wonderful.
Thanks.

Actually Zack there was only ONE configuration for a Liberty Truck bed during production.
Dump trucks and Troop seat configurations all came post War from what I can find in photo/contract evidence.

I have a full set of drawings I made up for my bed, from the 1918 plan set often seen amoungst truck builders, are you building a WWI Standard B truck?

There are three or four active reconstructions on-going in the World right now, one in England, One in New Zealand, one in Georgia (for 1ID's truck) Lima Ohio, wants to get busy, and one in PA being cleaned up for CMH.

Mine is less active as I need some motor parts.

Again, are you restoring a truck? If possible, where would that be located?

Send me a PM with an e-mail and I can send you a copy of the .PDF I put together for the bed.
