My wonderful friend, Fred LaPerriere, celebrated D-Day this year by dusting off and displaying many of his WW II military vehicles. The most interesting is his GMC CCKW 6x6 weather station, which a friend of his slowly toured inside and out with his video camera. Fred has collected an amazing amount of WW II weather equipment over the past few decades for his Jimmy weather station. The 4 minute silent video can be found here on YouTube:
