If this were a few years ago, I would have loved to have owned the M-125 Cargo version that an MVPA Member restored. The 10 Ton Cargo w/LeRoi is an attention getter, easy to drive, sounds like a running gun fight, rides like a basket ball, a real fun truck that takes bucks and a heavy equipment shop to maintain. It must be kept inside to keep it young looking. The dual exhaust was rough on compact cars with windows down. Deflector plates on the tail pipes helped keep the blast out of cars.

Thanks., I just remembered to look for a reply. Those of you who have not witnessed the sound of a LeRoi Gas Powered M-123 Tractor or M-125 Cargo at highway speed, you are missing something. It's beautiful and sounds like something designed by a wacky professor.

Joel there used to be one parked in a yard across from the WalMart in Ellsworth Maine, not sure if it's still there or not

It may have been the one that belonged to a house mover, I provided parts and serviced these. I also bought one from Sargents Trailer Sales in Ellsworth, it went to another contractor that does bridges and dock work. Been about 25 years.
The Charleston Correctional Facility had a Cummins powered M-123 that they removed the 5th wheel and outside duals from and installed a wooden flat bed on. It was used by the Inmates to haul in firewood they cut for the boilers used to heat the facility. I knew of a Fire Department in New Hampshire that made an M-123 over into a fire fighting rig.

I have a pretty good idea where most of the M125's are in this country if anyone is interested. There are only a few. Mostly we gave them to So Korea when we decided they did not make a good prime mover, high speed tractor worked better.

The few, the very proud!
