Looks great.

If I come across a set of grasshopper arms on the cheap, I'll let you know.

Since March 26th this year when it was dropped off at my house - I am the only person that has worked on it. When done CAMO out of Columbus GA will pick it up - install the original engine to finish it up,

Thanks Paul - I kind of make your paint look really good huh

K-18 is done on my side of what is needed. The original radiator is done and will get returned with the very bad fuel tank - The owner will decide which way he wants to head with this repair.
The owner as well is having the original engine rebuilt and is nearly ready as well as the seats fully rebuilt. They will install these components. First pic is BEFORE - I also attached a recent found original pic that is "somewhere" of a K-18 & K-19 - unsure of its location.

Here are some final pictures for you.

Saturday 12th was pickup day for the Columbus CAMO crew. Owner with the K-18 he saved.
Camo crew has the engine getting rebuilt and near completion - seats have been recovered and he is trial fitting them today - they are OD with a US insignia on the seat and backrest of both seats - very cool.

Thought I would share the pickup event:

Proud to say Wilfreeman is a good friend over on the SS site.

All the engine components I heard today will be done mid week. They should be building it Satuday the 19th. I suspect the K-18 not only running brought to the Georgia Rally come October but also running and driving in Columbus next month at the GunTruck Gathering at the hooch in Columbus Georgia. Info about this is over on the SS site under Guntruck Gathering.

For sure in Nov for the Veterans Day parade between Phoenix City & Columbus which is a huge event with thousands of people.

Good deal - can't wait to see it! I've been following the thread over on SS and am very intrigued with this vehicle - I love the oddballs!

I believe I have a brush guard for this truck.
I will look for it if interested.

Yeah. If I had this nice of a truck though I would prefer an original brush guard to a repop. It is a great repop though. Job well done.

Great job on your truck I have never seen one before its so cool it reminds me of the K 51 Chevy military truck because it's so cool.real nice job on the whole truck the floor and grille guard are real nice.I know it's not proper but you sure could make a cool camper out of that I could see a bed and a flat screen and a refrigerator for the beer thanks for your inspiration so someday I can do my g506
