Hi,
Do you have the PDF file of TM 10-1300 for the similar trailer built by the "Utility Trailer Corp."? I believe the trailers are nearly identical. If you didn't get a copy, and would like one; just let me know and I can send you a link.

Re: Parts needed for 1942 Chevy G7113 Tractor
Hello All,
I know Thierry, he lives near Dieppe in France and I saw his Chevy G7113 last June in Normandy not too far Ste-Marie-du-Mont where the 101st ABN, 501st and 506th PIRs were jumped the night before D-Day. He worked hard for his truck to be close as it was during the WWII and the picture he sent on the board doesn't fully paid tribute to the quality of the restoration work. Tell me Thierry, the original or copy of the TM that you want, is it for the trailer because I don't know what you mean with the term "semi-trailer".
Cheers

Great picture Thearly! I am still working on my G7113 but very little right now. I have a few other projects that I'm trying to finish first. I still have not found a trailer to pull behind it though. Kind of sounds like that is the hard item to find here in the states. I would love to see more pictures of the finished pair, you can send me a PM or post them for every one to see. It is nice to here you got them done for D-day anniversary.

Thearly's original period trailer is probably the only one around.
This is an example of the perfect restoration, as close as can be to the original truck and trailer.

Re: Parts needed for 1942 Chevy G7113 Tractor
Bart,
You have a great eye! From what I can see from the pictures, Thearly did an amazing job on his G7113 and trailer restoration. The details look incredible! I stare at these pictures for a long time just looking for every little detail that I can find to see what might be different than my G7113. Some day I will see this truck in person! I am still looking for a spare tire rack and side box. I think I have a line on a fifth wheel plate that is period correct. And of course still looking for a trailer to pull behind my truck. It is going to be sad when I get the truck done and no trailer to pull behind it.

Re: Parts needed for 1942 Chevy G7113 Tractor
Hello Bart,
Unfortunately, No I haven't. It seems I have been spending more time out buying more old WWII trucks instead of restoring the ones I have. Plus we sold our Log Cabin where my shop was and I'm in the process of trying to build a new shop. Probably won't get back to working on it until next year.
Please tell me more about yours. Doesn't sound like there are many of them around. Is it complete? Any pictures? PM me any time.
