WTB: Halftrack

I’m looking to purchase a halftrack. I’m not wanting a museum piece. I am wanting something I can play with and have a good time in and shoot machine guns off of, but atleast be a track worth owning. Would prefer an m2A1 since it has a lot of the features I desire (shorter, storage compartment on side, etc). But do want either a pulpit or rail all the way around. Reproduction armor is ok as long as the final assembly is quality, but would really like original armor for most of vehicle. Would prefer a roller over a winch, but not biased on one or the other. Don’t care if it has a radio or not. Good runner with little work needed. Not interested in any anti aircraft setups or other random unique models. Price is negotiable.

I have an M2A1 available but it's just a cab/chassis right now. Has a winch but not the bumper so it could go either way. Runs/drives. Two sets of tracks, one set NOS Israeli on pallets. Full skate rail available but I don't have the rear armor. Probably more of a project than you're looking for but it's an option.

Yeah, not really looking for a restoration project. No room and probably don’t have the required tools and certainly no time. Would prefer a turn key ready to go track.

It’s not terrible other than it doesn’t appear the rear armor actually fits the entire frame. Looks a little odd.

It's an M2 body on an M3 frame. For what you want I think this fits. If you are looking for something 100% original I think you will pay at least double for it. If money is no object I may have a lead for you only if you are serious.

Don’t need a 100% original, but I do want atleast correct. I feel like if I went with that one, I’d get annoyed and it would turn into a project of replacing the rear armor.

Money is an issue in that I’m not wanting to spend into the $60k range.

You can always shorten the frame to make it more correct or transfer everything over to an M2 frame or sell the M2 armor for a complete M3 armor.
