Fuel lines

We're the halftrack original fuel lines rubber, or were they copper with a rubber or cloth covering?

fuel lines are always mild steel. never copper. the only rubber parts are the small sections that insulate the engine from the frame.

Mine are steel with an asphalt-coated fabric loom sleeve. And as Brian said, a short hose between the hard line and the fuel pump to isolate the line from vibration and engine movement.
