Getting set to change out my old track for new ... and I realized that the very worn track on my M16A2 appears to be German made? This was a former French Track before I recovered it and I assumed it would have good old BFG track on it ... never really looked at the track until today. Anyway was just wondering if anyone has come across any track with these markings:
TRAUCO METAL KAUTSCHUK (In German KAUTSCHUK means rubber).

Re: German Made Track???
Hello,
First, I want to thank you for your outstanding service to America !!!
You have a great Halftrack !!
Indeed those appear to be German made tracks.
I would recommend contacting the company directly to see if they can give you accurate information on
the track production. They are still going strong !!

It appears these guys are the Trauco Company of today.
Let us know what you find out !!
If you look at the bottom of their page it mentions 50 years of business, before 1991 .
Located in Leer, Germany, near the Dutch Border .
Best regards,
Ray
