I thought I would do a post this time. This Monday was a big moment as we got Don's engine started. This took place just shy of two years to the day that we moved Don's halftrack in my shop. He has come a long way and boy it looks fantastic to say the least. It defiantly puts my track to shame with what all he has done to it. Here are some photos of the restoration thus far followed by a video of the engine start I put together. I've learned a lot working on his track and mine. Also, a big thanks to all of you on the forums, parts suppliers and to our mechanic Matt who has done lots for the both of us.

Don took his halftrack out for a drive today. It's the first time driving it under power. Enjoy

Well took a little sabbatical from the halftrack for a bit. Had some home work to catch up on. Decided to put some of the cab floor plates and the seats in today. Thank God they weren't relying on me for war production it took a couple of hours. But I also had to remove the radiator and the water pump I'll bet that only took me 20 minutes, go figure!

Don made some good progress yesterday as he got most of his front floor plates in and one half of the troop seats/storage lids installed. First he had to make an extra trip home to get all the stuff he forgot to bring. He will have the radiator back today and I gave him an NOS water pump in exchange for his leaking one. He should have the radiator and water pump back on tomorrow. Keep up the good work Don! Tower Park is three months away!! :D

Time for another progress report! Got sometheing actually complete before this last big blast hit last weekend. After having to pull the water pump and radiator back out. Thanks to Steve I borrowed an NOS water pump till I can get mine rebuilt. Anyway Got the floor complete now. Have to take up to DMV and get a VIN inspection done so I can start working on a Title. Line up punches and keeping everything loose has been the order of the day getting things back together.

It is an absolute joy during these cold, dreary winter months to see your progress through your pics- what better way to keep HT owners motivated to keep going. Even if we have to wait for warm weather to do it! Thanks!!
