Was there a area to store the first aid kit on a GPA?

Rick,
Immediately behind the front passenger seat should be a rectangular bracket that is welded to the wheel well. The first aid kit was attached to this bracket with a standard first aid kit bracket.
Good luck,

Hi, I have re posted a similar question. From what I can see that is the correct position. As there are no holes in the base of the kit tin, there must be some form of bracket. As you indicate, the standard jeep First Aid Kit tin is smaller (12 piece) and the bracket will not fit the larger 24 piece kit. If someone has a bracket for a WW2 truck we may be in luck?
