DUKW fan belt info...

Guys, Can someone please help me out with a modern part number for the DUKW fan belt. The vehicle has the original water pump and pulley and generator fitted. Thanks in advance....

I have a 5L430 on mine. This is 5/8" wide and 43 inches long. However, it sits in the bottom of the pullies without enough contact to the sides and will squeal when you rev the engine. I had an original correct DUKW belt but it also started squealing and belt dressing didn't stop it so I got 5L to replace it. There are newly made wider belts available but you will have to go to a NAPA to get one. The original DUKW belts are available from Frank in Canada or Rex in England.

CCKW's and DUKW's use a 7/8" Wide Belt.
GM-2190551 is same belt for both CCKW and DUKW, go to your Gates Dealer and order a TR 28437, it is Kevlar reinforced, 7/8" Wide X 44-1/4" L. and is the Gates interchange for GM- 2190551.
GM-2190551 is the latest GM Part No for the DUKW/CCKW Fan Belt.
I also have NOS mid 50's dated Goodyear boxed GI Issue Belts for CCKW/DUKW for $25.00 Delivered via USPS insured in US of A. A GI Goodyear on my CCKW has gone 12 Years and is still supple with no evidence of wear due to age.
