Hello,
This is for the block and crank, and crank mounting ends only, and whatever internals I have for it. It does have the cam and valve train. Everything will need to be rebuilt in order to use it.
I have a L134 bock that appears usable. I got the engine from a friend. The story is, in the 1950s the jeep that the engine was in, rear ended another car. The jeep was damaged beyond repair. The engine was pulled before the scrap yard got the jeep. The engine had a WW2 style front mounting plate attached.
A few years ago I started to disassemble it so I could free up the stuck piston and hone it out. I never completed the job and located another engine. It has been in my garage since.
I believe the story because the front mounting plate was bent back on both sides, indicating the engine was mounted when the impact happened.
- The cylinder walls look nice and I can't find any bad scratches. I would guess it has not been bored out.
- One piston was actually broke and the connection rod is bent. A chunk on the lower edge (by the connecting rod) is missing. I did find the missing chunk
- I can not find any cracks anywhere on the block.
- I would check the crank for trueness.
I will not bring it anywhere and it is very easy to access for loading in your truck or trailer. I have a engine lift available.
I will keep it for a few days (unless arrangements are made), after that it will go to the recycler.
Thanks.
Brett

I'd have had to distract you with the MA/early MB windshield frame to get ahead.
