Ok. Wondering how many 2a were used in the airforce? I think my jeep might have been one. Gray primer under od green. blue paint on top of that. Found some white letters on the hood. Cant make out the stencils. Holes on the right front fender. No implement bracket on the back. I put one on it. And im putting a pto winch on it. Origial seat frames. Thoughts?

CJ-2A and CJ-3A did end up in post war use by USAF. 1950's photos pop up at times from Air Force Bases such as Muroc/Edwards, and in Korean War books such as those by Warren Thompson. They are also listed in the 1953 TM9-2800 Military Vehicles.
What color is the tool Compartment, CJ's did not necessarily come with a drawbar.

Willys factory report indicates that over 6000 CJs were sold to the US Military from 46 to 53. And some ended up in the Air Corps, and then the Air Force.

Usually a tag with contract number if it was a big purchase by gov't but I also understand smaller buys could just be bought from a base to a dealer without a lot of red tape.
