http://g503.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=286282 You could buy this and have extra parts too. Not mine.

Curt....

Trying to tow it the first time you see it may not be a good idea. No registration, no lights, questionable tires and possible bearing seizure or lockups could be a problem for you. I loaded a Bantam into the back of my F-250 pick up with the trailer rear wheels behind the wheel wells in the truck bed and secured it with straps to keep it in there and drove home 300 miles like that....and that was AFTER it was restored but without registration and I could easily have towed it using the light bar I use to tow my jeep....just no registration/plate.

Just want to buy a lunette. That's all. Sorry don't need safety training.

Just flip that thing over onto some 2x6s. This helps the fenders to clear the inner fender wells of the truck. With a long bed, you can shut the tailgate. :D

Some use 4 Milk Crates to set the inverted 1/4 Ton Trailer, the draw bar will clear the pick up tail gate that way.

Good idea getting it up high enough to clear the tailgate. My M416 is sitting on two wooden pallets set between the wheel wells with 2X4s across to support the rail of the tub.

In fact, my old Dakota has had a couple of 1/4 ton trailers in the bed :D This one is a 1952 Strick.
