For sale again

Post by lt.luke » Wed May 17, 2017 7:57 pm

MBT, fair floor, fair frame, towing A arms can be repaired. Axle is complete. Springs are likely OK. Tub....well, 1/2 tub...is...IDK.

What IS in the pics that wouldn't go is the data plate.

What ISN'T in the pics that WILL go is a pair of fenders. They need work, but i think could be smoothed out.

$400 OBO FOB Lawton, OK or pickup. Palletizing, disassembly etc are things we can discuss. I can get pallets, that will be no charge. Banding to a pallet would be only charged for materials needed, no charge for labor. If there's disassembly involved...we'll discuss privately.

It's rough. But it's a project. You wouldn't really be ruining much if you cut the tub off and made a flat bed or bike hauler. You would be well served with a quick replacement tub. Or maybe you have a tub with good sides and bad front/rear. All possibilities with this one.

More pics available. Let me know what you want/need to see.

I have had an enquiry into parting this one out.

So, if anyone wants it "AS IS" let me know. If anyone is interested in it as a flat-bed, let me know that too.

Forum rules require a price to be stated and I'm a wheeler/dealer. If you think it needs to be negotiated, let's talk.

A deal has been made for some sections of the tub.

The rest is availible, flat bed, frame and floor with modified tow arm, full axle and springs.

Also availible, fenders and a rough lunette casting.

If forum ruler require, I will post an updated stat price, but would prefer to negotiate privately.

Front and rear panel are sold.

Sorry, but it isn't worth my time to separate the sheet metal floor from the frame. I will happily separate the suspension and A arms and sell the floor/frame assembly?

Please PM and I'll give you my phone number to discuss. I would start a project of that magnitude in about 2 weeks, after my family travel this coming weekend.

I have taken a couple of new photos. Front and rear panels have been removed & sold.

Lunette casting is sold.

Frame with floor, remnants of sides with most of the fender brackets, salvageable A-arms, A-arm U bolts, springs, axle hub to hub complete, are all availible.

There's no blackout light switch, no brake cable.

You were probably in one of the nicest parts of the state. I know a few folks who've retired in that area.

This is the current condition of the trailer. I have no reason to believe the springs or axle are bad. Brake drums present. Detail shot of A-arm modification....not terribly hard to fix. Side sections of tub will have most fender tabs, if someone needs those.

I will NOT bother separating the frame from the floor sheet metal. HOWEVER, I WILL sell the whole thing cheap enough YOU can do it.

I'd take $200 as it sits, or without the side panels to make shipping a little easier.

If you want PARTS, make an offer.

I'm building a load for the scrapper and this is on it, so make me offer(s)

A-arms...$50 as they sit...$100 if I fixed them.
Springs...$100-200 for the pair
Axle....$200 drum to drum complete
Frame with floor...$100-200
Fender tabs...$20 for the set maybe?
Tub sides for patching...$20 per side

Is it because I won't disassemble it and post pics of the individual pieces cleaned, blasted and primed?

This is a good platform for a repop tub.

Shipping will be a bear...I get that, and THINK I've priced it accordingly. Local pickup would be great...true.
