Picked up this trailer recently and noticed the PU tag under the normal dataplate. Anyone ever seen one of these or have pictures with the gen set mounted? What generator was mounted in here? There are a ton of footman loops in the bed. There appears to have been a pair of straps too mounted on the RH side. One is rusted out and the other mounting point is still there.

The trailer was converted from a stock M416 to a com power unit trailer by General Dynamics for the MRC-107 Radio setup which included the radios, the trailer, antennas, portable generator and the M151 jeep.
This is an MRC-108 which is very similar to the MRC-107. They are Tactical Air Control units.

Do you still have this trailer? I find it interesting as there's very little info out there about the generator that supported the MRC-107. I found this:
