Corrrect carb on my M422?

Post by sstcobra » Mon Jan 08, 2018 10:38 am

I have a List 1931 carb on my M422. The numbers below the List number are: 8757308. Can someone confirm this is the correct List number? I am having carb problems and do not want to invest too much money rebuilding this carb if it is not correct for my MM. Also, if it would help, I would be glad to send a few photos of the carb if you provide me your email. I tried to attach a photo to the forum, but the file is too large. Thanks (Traversogary@gmail.com)

Welcome to the G! Can you post a photo of the carburetor? The correct one is a Holley. I can tell you if it is correct by looking at it.

Bill, I sent you an email with some photos. I was not able to attach them to this site.

And thank you for the welcome comments.

I got them Gary and it is a correct Mighty Mite carburetor. As I mentioned in the email, get the vent line hooked back up.
