Re: Tire Outside Diameter
Not sure exactly sure what you're after but the tire size is 6.00 X 16" which gives a tire height of about 28" to 29".

Re: Tire Outside Diameter
Thanks Bill,
I am a bit unfamiliar with 16X6 (i.e. Rim Diameter and width) and how it corresponds to the outside diameter of a tire without a 3rd dimension like aspect ratio. Is there a standard that maybe I'm not familiar with such that all NDT's have a certain aspect ratio or "rule of thumb" for older tires.
Thanks,

Not having any tire problems, just running some calculations on the effects of final drive speed due to variations in actual tire diameter.

A 6.00-16 measured at 27-3/4" with 25 PSI in the tire.

Radar, is that an actual measurement? The books all list the 6.00 X 16 NDT at 28.6".

Re: Tire Outside Diameter
Yes it is an actual measurement, at 25 PSI.
And just for fun I measured the other Mighty Mite in the shop. It measured, at 25 PSI, 27-15/16"
Both measured with a level and rule, not just eyeballing it.
Bill, if your machine is handy please go measure it, I suspect the number will be different. In fact there a few other variable that we could take into consideration like manufacturer and load ranges. For certain there are LT, B and C load ranges in the 6.00-16 available. Both the tires I measured were B's, the correct 4 ply rating for a Mighty Mite.
That is all on the subject from me.
