Now available NEW CV, transfercase and accelerator boots

Post by Radar4xfour » Mon May 05, 2014 1:58 pm

NEW CV, transfercase and accelerator boots, freshly manufactured from original molds.

These are not NOS items but fresh, flexible, newly manufactured boots from the OEM molds. No more CV boot work-around or modifying something to kind of, sort of, fit!

I have produce a limited quantity of the CV, transfercase and accelerator pedal boot. Sorry, no transmission shifter boots. For any Mighty Mite owner these are all must have items that have not been available for quite some time, maybe never for most of us. These are the same exact boots originally produced for the Mighty Mite with the exception of the material. The new boots are made from modern materials that are more UV resistant and remain more flexible under cold and hot temperature conditions than the originals. A win-win situation!

All three items are made in the USA.

Even if you were fortunate enough to find NOS boots they are probably not very flexible and will not perform well. If you have only one Mighty Mite I suggest you purchase a spare set for the future, as availability is limited.

Also newly manufactured are the transfercase shift boot and the accelerator pedal boot. If you are experiencing a stiff accelerator pedal, installing a new boot will greatly increase the pedal motion operation. On my M422A1 the old rubber boot was stiff and preventing full travel of the accelerator pedal. The new boot took care of this issue. If you have a “slow” Mighty Mite this may very well solve your problem.

Details:

CV boots, P# 8757433 (must purchase two, priced as two) $60.00
Accelerator boot, P# 8761801, $12.50 each
Transfercase boot, P# 8757483 $18.50 each

Payment and shipping options: Please PM me to arrange payment and shipping.

Paul,

You are a ROCK STAR!!!

Great job getting this monumental project done!!

NEW CV boots alone would be amazing, but done on the original molds....Priceless..... Awesome...!!

If you have a MM, this is an awesome opportunity....

Thanks for helping to keep the MM alive.

Rgds,

Rob

Hi Paul,

Tremendous job in reproducing the boots and convincing the supplier to make a run.

I received my twin sets of bellows yesterday. Great to smell the fresh rubber mite parts.
