Radar,

Sometimes I have to remind myself that I dont have to keep up with the Jones's...But WOW, your parts look great.

I will have to keep the name of the place you had them done close. On my engine, most of the parts that should be plated, were either painted black or green at rebuild or done along the way. I thought that it looked really good until I saw your parts and now Im thinking about redoing my engine.

Thanks Don and sorry too, didn't mean to make more work for you!

The place that did the 1st batch went out of business after almost 100 years. The new place did an equally fine job,d-bplating.com

Murphy's Law, just after sending off the items to be plated, you will come across another item or two that was missed!

Thanks Radar...

When I get to the point of doing this work, hopefully I wont forget something. But knowing me I will.

Another batch recently received from the plater. Some of the items I had plated were not necessary plated from the factory. Some of the items were originally painted or plated a different color other than the yellow zinc I selected.

Now that I have the CV boot rings plated I can install them on my restoration project along with the new CV boots that I contracted to have made and that many of you have purchased. On that note thank you all that have purchased them.
