Looking for an M151a1 Radiator. Anyone know where to find one for a decent price?

I see your two radiators for $25.00 each and raise you a new transmission in the crate for $37.50!!! I see that your MVPA number is a three digit number. Mine is 530. We must have joined not to far apart. Thanks for being a steadfast member. Kevin (MVPA Board of Directors).

If anybody reads this far, I was only kidding about the transmission. I would not sell an NOS for less that $45.00!

Jim, The MVPA Staff has departed Kansas City for Cleveland, Ohio for our Spring BOD meeting. If they cannot access records from there, I will have them check when they return on Monday. By the way, I leave Friday to attend the meeting, so I cannot get you the transmission this time. Better luck next time. Kevin.

If you would like to purchase a "New one", there is a company; Indiana Heat Transfer Corp. They manufacture military parts as well as radiators for the M151's. You can probably pick one up for approx. $300.00. I purchased one through a dealer for near double the price and I was curious and called the company and the guy told me that I could have purchased one through them. :o

Did you talk to someone at Indiana Heat Transfer? I looked at their data sheets and supplying the information they need for a M-151 would be dang near impossible unless you have a degree in thermal engineering yourself! If they do in fact make a radiator for a M-151 for 300.00 that would be great!

I talked to them several years ago on a new M-151 radiator. You just need to tell them the ordinance number of the radiator. They have made military radiators over the years to include 2 1/2 and 5 ton. Kevin.

Good info to know, 300.00 is a good price for a brand new, not NOS thirty year old radiator. Of coarse, thirty years ago they used much thicker copper so it is kind of a trade off, Old solder and thick copper opposed to new solder and thin copper.
The guy I used for all of my radiator repairs when I was in business no longer does it because he cannot get quality cores, he tells me the new cores are to thin and he will not use them. He just retired and gave up.
