1964 Uncut M151 titled and licensed for sale ***SOLD***

Post by mr2400 » Sun Feb 05, 2017 7:39 am

For sale is my 1964 M151. It's rare, uncut, titled and registered. It's been kept indoors since the previous owner did a light restoration. The engine runs great and starts right up. Included with the vehicle is a 24v Battery Tender, an extra spare wheel and tire, a radio with copper whip antenna, two sets of door skins, back side curtains, as well as many spare parts. As you can see in the pictures, it has some surface rust here and there, but the vast majority of the body and frame are very solid. There's one spot behind the drivers side front wheel well with some rust holes, but it's old and has not progressed. I was told that at some point in the past the entire body was dipped to remove corrosion, I assume that's what stopped the spread of the rust through. A picture of the specific spot is in the album included. I am negotiable on price. Please contact me either via this forum's messaging, or through my Craigslist post.

I see it is a straight 151 that has had turn signals added. How has that been incorporated into the wiring harness? Have the rear lights been converted?

The turn signals, front and rear, were added before I purchased it. I'm unfamiliar with its stock configuration, so I'd have a hard time explaining the addition. I can take some pictures if that would help.

Up by the clutch pedal, to the left of it mounted to the floor is where the turn signal controller would normally be mounted. This would be a good place to get a picture of. There was a conversion put out by the military to convert the later straights to the A1 signals. It is a monster of a unit with a spiderweb of wires. Very hard to find set up. I personally am not in the market for the vehicle, would love to but fixed disability income says NO. But I know what others will be looking for so I figured I would make the suggestion. I think you have a good deal there.
