Seeing venders now offering up F marked bolts. I knew it was just a matter of time before someone got on board with reproducing them. I bought a set of head bolts because those seem to be the worse off. But leads me to think that my stock has diminished in value Used to see these pulling $100's, $1000's if there were lots of common sizes... Mine are packed away in oil, thinking I had a nice little nest egg mixed in with all my nuts and bolt containers... now not so much.
BTW... Pearl Harbor remembrance day, working on my jeep. My special thanks to the significance of the day

Re: Reproduction F bolts...
The purists will still pay for original 'F' bolts. Yes, they sometimes seems a little unreasonably priced compared to the repro ones, but the repro ones don't always looks as authentic either. Now, selling your 'nest egg' all as one might be somewhat difficult, but I doubt you'd have any issue making a few bones by selling them in smaller batches

I hear ya, just more or less venting/observation... My project is still coming together so I'm holding on to what I got. I was never really looking to cash in, I just remembered seeing crazy prices being realized.

Fair enough. I did the same thing when I was working through my GPW build. Kept all 'F' bolts in one place then made sure to use them in the locations where they were most visible

Re: Reproduction F bolts...
Prices of original parts have been artificially inflated by hoarding parts for too long, so I applaud quality reproduction parts becoming available. Plenty of people will still want original parts only, but the majority will accept correct repro parts and that means it will become a buyer's market again. Original parts will always keep a good value but some are priced beyond absurd now and a good quality repro part will ensure more jeeps can have correct parts.
Ofcourse none of the above is applicable for any original parts I might have, those are worth their weight in gold
