Technician grades ww2

Post by Daren » Wed Sep 27, 2017 9:20 am

Hi all,
I have a question about ranks and stripes. I have seen the rank technician 5th grade mentioned for ncos but what would a technician have done within the regiment. I am assuming it would have been something in the lines or radio operator or machine gunner, mortar squad leader. Would this be correct?
Regards

I believe the "Tech" grades were all non-combat jobs. Mechanics and such who did maintenance and repair things.
Is it true real Jeeps have flat fenders?
Alone cannot you it resist!
