NDT TIRE TRACKS

Post by Joe Gopan » Fri Sep 15, 2017 8:06 pm

Something one does not encounter much anymore. Back in the 40's-50's when walking home from visiting friends in the neighborhood during a snow storm the only tracks on the roadway were Jeep NDT tracks headed to my house, I knew Uncle Joe was headed home in one of our new Jeeps. Tread marks were unmistakably Goodyears.

How did you know which way he was going? Maybe he was heading from home as opposed to heading to home?

With the NDT's it would be difficult to tell if he was coming or going.

Which side of the street the tracks were on could tell you.
Is it true real Jeeps have flat fenders?
Alone cannot you it resist!

Old Army Trick.
I've been coming and going all my life. Sometimes I would lie down on the tracks and make a snow angel.
