Engine info

Post by Flyncoastie » Sat Aug 19, 2017 5:29 am

I'm in the process of buying a GPW but it doesn't have the original engine. I'm assuming it is a later civilian block with a gear driven cam. Can anyone please provide details about the engine numbers? Thanks

Your assumption is correct. Is there a serial number stamped into the water pump boss?
