That tub looks to be in halfway decent shape and it should be fairly easy to restore. Good find!
Is it true real Jeeps have flat fenders?
Alone cannot you it resist!

Hi everyone !
Update report of the works :
While I spend lot of time to clean and prepare numerous parts for painting (now still too cold to do), I replaced yesterday Bubba's front bumper.
Long ago, probably after it had been damaged, Bubba replaced the original one by a piece of steel U beam.
The problem is that this beam was narrower than the original bumper, so he had to clamp the gussets. Moreover, the beam has been welded on the gussets.
First step : cut the wrong bumper and restore the original shape of the gussets :
Feel no regrets !
We clean the rests of weld

Hi everyone
A long time I haven't post any reports of my works !
Howewer, I was working plenty of time each time it's possible to do.
My tub is still Under restoration......I hope to keep it back soon.
These days, I do one thousand little tasks, in preparation to the main work.
Due to the recently windy and rainy days, I started to stick decals on a Purolator oïl filter freshly repaint in satin black.
Following advises from some of you guys, I used MICRO SOL (solution for models decals).
Not so bad for a first time, what do you think ?
