Lunette eye to Fulton coupler
Guys I have a T3-C with a Fulton Coupler I would like to keep the coupler on & pull it behind my GPW. Does anyone know of an adaptor that would attach to the 17/8 ball and convert it to a pintle eye. I did see one on youtube but I really don't want to bolt anything to the frame. I would like to keep it original Without switching the fulton coupler. I saw a picture of someone T3-C with a similar setup. Any Suggestions or help is appreciated. TIA Mike Sorry I posted this in the wrong area. My bad Mike

Four bolts and you could swap out the pintle on the GPW to a ball mount, or you could swap the GPW's pintle to one with an integral ball, painted green to match the jeep, very few would notice it.
Combo pintle/ball hitch with a 1-7/8 ball:

If you want to go with a ball mount for the jeep, look in the local pick-your-part type yards at the older Mitsubishi Monteros, they use hitches that bolt right on to the pintle hitch bolt pattern, should be cheap, used.

Hey Mike - what's that lunette eye from? Did you fabricate it?

Re: Lunette eye to Fulton coupler
Does the C have safety chains? Do they still reach?
If not, I might consider installing some, just in case.
But, it looks military and is easier than removing the pintel hitch and swapping it out every time you want to tow. I've got a worn F marked pintl that I install for displays and I'm not towing, and I swap it out for a non F marked but secure pintel when I'm towing the machine gun carriage in parades. Better safe than "pretty".
On my machine gun carriage, I used a lunette eye from a riding lawn mower with the same approx. dimensions as the military lunette.

Re: Lunette eye to Fulton coupler
Guys sorry for the late reply I guess I missed your posts. Alan I purchased this through Croft Trailer sales in Kansas City MO. Part # CZRA-1 Croft coupler to Ring adaptor.
Robert I think your asking if the original trailer chain are long enough with this adaptor on the trailer? I have the original chains on the trailer & they are long enough to connect to my GPW. Hope this helps Mike
