The BDUs that guy is wearing are the late Vietnam war era enertl pattern (not sure I spelled that right). They came in 2 flavors one with a tan base color and the other with a light green base color. The pattern looks alot like the "woodland" pattern used on the later (80s-90s) BDUs only smaller. I remember "oogleling" that Blue A2 and thought about painting my '67 A1 that color instead I went with 24087.

Regarding those M151 having their 60s mounted on the front passenger seat. Are they field mods or not? They look particularly interesting...

The carc green M151 with 307BW doesn't seem to be marked correctly. The 4258TH Strat Wing (SAC) at U'Tapao RTNAF 1967 to 1970 was then changed to 307BW (SAC) from 1970 untill the SAC phased out of UT. But the SPS (Security Police Squadron) was the 635th (of the 635 Combat Support Group) for the entire period so the bumper should be marked 635SPS correct?

I took this in 1969 at U'Tapao RTNAF. USAF 635th SPS with two Thai guards accompanying.

Jason,

do you mean this one??????

Sorry for pulling up an ancient thread. But this is the result of a collision of two things.

1. I was looking up pictures of USAF MUTTs as I plan to mark mine for FAC or Combat Controller
2. I have that speaker!! 1968 dated Motorola, picked up at a yard sale. Just two nights ago I replaced the wiring and tested it. It works. So what does it go to? (based on color, I've no doubt mine is civilian)

Thanks

It doesn't say "Realistic" on it does it? It sure looks like a Radio Shack CB external speaker.

Mine says Motorola on it. But still pretty sure it's an external CB antenna. Wasn't expecting to see one in a military vehicle. Just sort of dismissed it as a neat oddity I bought at a yard sale and would end up selling at a yard sale. Didn't think I'd have an "excuse" to use it.

The Motorola's were big on police cars and all kinds of emergency equipment so that being a security vehicle probably explains that.
