Electric fuel pump on M151A2

Post by Mustafa Gujjar » Fri Dec 29, 2017 6:10 am

i have mutt 825 with mechanicle airtex pump. Dead few days ago, there was no replacement and repair in my country. I was adviced by a dealer to use facet 11, 24 volt fuel pump instead of mechanicle pump. Any body tell is compatible with zeineth carb.

e11*72/245*95/54*0535*00 Facet made in usa solid state 24volt but i did not knew the psi. Vehicle still out of power. starts good Remain ok on idle but lost power in intervals. After some rest in idle runs again. On full accelaration few back fire. Little bit good after timing and distribution setting. Still in problem

Have you tested the fuel pump for a steady flow? Sounds like you could have a coil going bad.
