Spring's still coming. And those Paolo's MB Seats are sure going to feel good on my little behind. The MB Bottom Cushion in this photo is a Willys original). And how many M-38A1 questions does this generate for wbob? Did you note that Retainer and the late (with the groove in it) Horn Button Cap? Or the Genuine Willys factory water slide Drain Plug Decal? I have 2 decals left. I stocked up on those 673600 1/4" Lockwasher Bolts back in 69 from Jeep.
And Bob, note the original factory 2430 O.D. on the Instrument Panel Plate.

Colder than Hell out there tonight, +3F right now. Spring is 3 months away, needed something to cheer me up, these sleeping beauties are just what the doctor ordered.
Note the BAT-GEN Indicator in place of the Ammeter. Ammeter is not compatible with the Solid State Voltage Regulator that is installed. Solid State Voltage Regulator is more reliable.
Note the Yesterday's Army address on the dash. Got the idea from David Tallichet back in 75.
It may be 3 Degrees F out, but these Jeeps will fire off regardless of the cold tonite.

Still going out to take a peek at my babies, makes the wait for Spring a little easier. Some gages are Luminous, but I ain't glowing yet.

Note the GI Issue Decals, they add legitimate color to your Olive Drab JEEP fleet.
That OD Wood Case behind my MB Seat is a Clinometer that is used to establish cloud height. It was used by AAF Weather Stations. Ever notice that vertical ray of light at Air Force Bases?
The Clinometer now enjoys life at Fagen Fighters Museum along with a WWII Vintage wooden wheeled Stewart Warner Air Craft Engine Heater.

Note the 24087/2430 OD paint contrast of the dash and instrument plate.
Paint is genuine GI Issue Rust Inhibiting 24087 SG OD, the instrument Plate is factory 2430
I used GI Issue 24087 Rust Inhibiting OD to paint the Jeep and the Instrument Panel is NOS from the sealed box.
The MB is Gillespie 2430.
MB Bumper markings are from back when B/General Chuck Yeager was "Guest of Honor" at the local ANG Air Show in 1996

Note the Diamond Plate Clutch Pedal,it is from JEEP and is the OEM JEEP Part Number.
